Smart Advice schedules one-on-one business counseling sessions with clients.
During these sessions, clients are requested to bring as much information as
possible, on their idea for a business. For "concept stage" businesses, the
information should contain type of business, proposed name of business, preferred
location(s), marketing, advertising & sales strategies, closest competitor(s),
the businesses competitive advantage, management experience, growth strategy, and
clients goals. For those clients in the "development stage" of a business, it's
highly recommended to have on-site sessions whenever possible, including the
above information. This will give Smart Advice a better understanding of the
location of the business, parking availability, customer access, and signage
space.
Summary of New Business Services
- FREE Cursory Evaluation
Up to 1 hour of face-to-face or telephone
conversation to establish if Smart Advice can be of service to the client, and
the client feels comfortable enough with Smart Advice to schedule an evaluation.
- Concept Stage Evaluation
This is a face-to-face interview with the
client to establish if the new business concept has merit, exploring what can be
done to improve upon it, in order to make it a reality. A report may or may not
be generated, depending on the outcome of the counseling session.
- Development Stage Evaluation
This is also a face-to-face interview at or
near the site where the client will locate the business. Smart Advice will go
through a 40-point evaluation, to confirm that the client has considered every
aspect of the business. A report will be generated and sent to client via
e-mail, or U.S. Postal Mail.
