FREE Cursory Evaluation

Smart Advice begins by offering "Free Cursory Evaluations" to see if the service offering meets the needs of the client. This initial evaluation session can last up to 1 hour via the telephone, or a face-to-face meeting at the business location. It is important to discuss the complete service offerings, and how they can benefit the client. It's also important to cover the costs associated with the services, and let the client know they can always call for "Quick Advice" over the phone. If it appears as though the client could use Smart Advice's services, a date and time is scheduled for an evaluation. And the enrollment form is given to the client.

Extensive Business Evaluation Smart Advice conducts a 40-point "Extensive Business Evaluation" that covers nearly everything inside and out of the business, as well as the marketing, advertising, sales & Internet strategies. The evaluation is performed at the business location, during business hours. Depending on the size of the location, it may take 2 hours for a small business and possibly up to 4 hours for a much larger one. The evaluation can be done with or without the client being present, and/or without employees' being aware that the evaluation is being conducted. Once the evaluation is completed, a professional report is generated and sent to the client. After client has reviewed the report, Smart Advice can have a one-on-one counseling session to further explain the findings and make possible recommendations.

Employee Evaluation

Smart Advice also offers "Employee Evaluations" that are carried out with on-site interaction with inquiries about products, services, purchases, or questions regarding business policies. After completing the on-site interactive portion of the evaluation, Smart Advice can also conduct one-on-one interviews if the client has requested it. "Confidential Evaluations" are also a part of the service offering. These evaluations are conducted without anyone at the business location being aware of the evaluation. This method proves to be of great value to the small business owner with limited time, and know that employees are on their best behavior when they are present. The same report procedure will be followed.

Customer Feedback Report

Smart Advice can conduct exit interviews to gather valuable "Customer Feedback" from those persons who have spent time in the business without making a purchase or those who have made purchases. It's extremely important to understand why people made purchases, and why others did not. The interviews will be conducted in a non-intrusive manner, taking no more than a couple of minutes to complete. Smart Advice has spent 8 years monitoring peoples' behavior, asking questions, mean while being cognizant of their privacy. This type of feedback report will help provide critical information on possible deficiencies or competitive issues, so that adjustments can be made to make the business become more successful. The same report procedures will be followed.

Community Feedback Report

Smart Advice can conduct interviews to gather valuable "Community Feedback" from those people in the immediate areas, such as other businesses, office buildings, homes, service stations, in the business complex, or shopping center, and sidewalk areas. Smart Advice can conduct these interviews with or without the consumer knowing which business might be inquiring about their shopping preferences. These interviews will also be conducted in a non-intrusive manner, taking no more than a few minutes to complete. This type of feedback report could show possible deficiencies in the business's marketing efforts, as opposed to those found in Customer Feedback. Either way, the necessary adjustments can be made to make the business become more successful. The same report procedure will be followed.
